Mums in Science is looking for an part time intern that is interested in learning about Marketing.


As our intern you will be involved in new and innovative campaigns and learn everything about the area from the ground up. We are a hardworking team of paid and volunteer staff that are passionate about supporting all people that identify as female.

We are a geographically dispersed team and are open to applicants from any location provided they can meet with their manager (based in Australia) once a month for a 1-hour video call. Applicants must be 18 or over to apply for the internship. It is designed as an unpaid position, to teach you the fundamentals of the respective business areas and to give you real world experience that you can use to apply for jobs in the industry.

About The Position
This position is suitable for someone interested in marketing, that is looking to gain relevant work experience and skills, which they can add to their resume.

What you will learn:
You will work directly with the Head of Marketing to learn how to create new content for our social media platforms to promote our articles, partnerships and events as well as attract new users to the platform. This will involve preparing creative images, writing content and supporting the Operations team with new campaigns. You will about SEO, digital marketing and the marketing required to promote a digital business.

Hours of Work
Your workload will vary from week-to-week, so your hours will range from 2-5 hours per a week. We will support you to work according to your own schedule.
