HISTORY

Learn a little more about Mums in Science and how we started

Mums in Science started after its founder, Dr Shara Cohen, identified the need for STEM mums to be supported.  In 2005 Dr Cohen had two young children and saw many of her women peers leaving science due to family constraints and lack of support. So she established Mums in Science, an international network of people providing support, information and tools to manage a career while navigating the challenges of life including parenting.
