Future Leaders Programme
As a world leader in the oil and gas industry, BP operates at every stage of the energy lifecycle. In this highly competitive and constantly changing international market, we need leadership to help us stay ahead of the industry. Our Future Leaders Programme (FLP) is a 4 year global rotation programme which takes enthusiastic, talented people from a range of professional backgrounds and gives them the skills and opportunities to drive our Downstream business forward.
Our global programme will make the most of your potential, talent and experience. All whilst giving you the skills and opportunity to lead BP into the future and develop your own long-term career. We’ll ask you to share your ambitions, strengths and ideas, so together, we can tailor the best development programme to suit and stretch you.
Roles include Business and Commercial, Manufacturing, engineering & operations and Technology Opportunities in the United Kingdom, United States of America, Singapore, Australia, Turkey, China and Germany.
Training, development and support
The ultimate aim of the Future Leaders Programme is to develop, stretch and challenge your skills, so you should be flexible and prepared to work in a position that will truly test you. You’ll take part in two approximately 24 months’ rotations, one of which will be international giving you the chance to live and work in another country.
We pride ourselves on giving the right support so you can achieve your full potential. You’ll receive structured training through our leadership development programmes, as well as more technical subjects related to your discipline. At every step you’ll have a dedicated mentor and access to our senior leaders who will advise, support and guide you on your journey.
